Mission
We foster a dynamic, supportive, and responsive environment focused on connecting and empowering students with the tools of critical thinking, inquiry, and access to diverse, timely, and relevant resources.
Vision
EOU Library prioritizes student success. We provide access to quality and current collections, instruction, technologies, conversations, and spaces that meet the diverse needs and voices of our students, as well as the faculty, staff, and surrounding communities of Eastern Oregon University.

Strategic Priorities
Inclusive User Experience: Foster a culture of inclusion, accessibility, and positive interaction to support people of all backgrounds and abilities. Continuously work to create barrier-free access to services, systems, and spaces.
Information Access: Enhance the discoverability, accessibility, and responsiveness of library collections, both physical and online.
Student Learning: Create and provide multimodal opportunities for student learning, engaging with campus partners to integrate information literacy and student-centered pedagogies into the student learning experience.
Student Success: Provide a variety of support services and opportunities to enrich students’ educational journey. Contribute to institutional goals that reduce barriers and promote holistic success.
Organizational Excellence: Redefine our work practices by emphasizing continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, building an inclusive and equitable workplace, and supporting the professional growth of our faculty and staff.
