Interviewer:
Smith, Eugene
Interview Place:
Hells Canyon Preservation Council, OR
Abstract:
This interview contains memories largely related to timber and land conservation. Bill and his wife were teachers for many years, and they also farmed forest acreage. After retiring from working the land, he donated a portion of the property to the OSU School of Forestry. It is now designated, "The Oberteuffer Research and Education Forest." He is still a strong advocate today for preservation or natural resources and National Parks.
