The library has more than 50 computers available for patrons to use. One group is located in the Information Commons and another is in the open area on the ground floor. There are more computers in the second floor classroom, which can be used when the room is not in use for a class or meeting.
Software on the computers includes web browsers, Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, ArcGIS 10, Audacity, the GNU Image Manipulation Program, and more. A flatbed scanner and a microform scanner are available in the Information Commons area. Headphones can be checked out at the circulation desk if you need them.
Laptops are no longer available at the library, but they be can checked out from the EOU IT Department on a first come first serve basis. More details are available on IT’s EOU Laptop Checkout page.
